PRODUCT STORY 

The indigenous clothing design traje tipico is what embraces the culture and identity of the Indigenous Maya community. We as Latino founders from Guatemalan roots wanted to create a unique outerwear collection to represent the Indigenous Maya identity. Traje tipico is distinguished by the vivid zig-zag pattern and embroidered sleeves and collars. The Indigenous Maya communities continue to create and wear their traje tipico proudly, as generations pass many of the weaving techniques are handed down to the younger generations to keep the Indigenous Maya alive. We believe it’s our duty to do our part in keeping their culture alive to the world.
